Just a short drive down Highway 19 lies a hidden gem where the living is easy and a sense of calm sets upon every visitor. Welcome to Hacienda Corona de Guevavi, a historic bed and breakfast perfect for a getaway that’s not far away.
Hacienda Corona de Guevavi is situated along the Arizona-Mexico border, between the towns of Tubac and Patagonia. The ranch is perched atop 36 acres of the historic Guevavi Ranch, along the banks of the Santa Cruz River, and offers a view into the old West with a refreshing, relaxed air.
While the old barn and silo hearken back to the area’s ranching heritage, the Hacienda itself is elegant and refined. Interior courtyard walls feature decades-old murals by artist and bullfighter Salvador Corona, while the spacious rooms reflect elegant Western décor at its best. Romantic beds, tile flooring and private patios and entrances transport you from a “B&B” to a time and plae long before our own.
The Hacienda itself offers five rooms, while the property includes three larger casitas, which are suitable for families with small children or extended stays. A sparkling pool and a delectable breakfast are offered for the comfort of all guests. Wedding parties of approximately 40 people should consider renting all the rooms for a truly private affair.
Weddings at Hacienda Corona de Guevavi are highly personal, and command the attention of the entire staff as they prepare for your event. Lush lawns, secluded gardens and a romantic veranda are available for ceremonies and receptions that can be customized to meet the personalities of the bride and groom. A list of preferred vendors is available at the Hacienda, but you are always welcome to bring in your favorite vendors from Phoenix and Tucson!
Tamale-making parties and hayrides can be arranged to entertain your guests during their stay, and the ranch itself often plays host to concerts and other special events. Nearby, enjoy fantastic golf courses, horseback riding and the adventure that only a trip to Southern Arizona can provide. www.haciendacorona.com |
