back at the ranch: Sara and Ryan’s wedding began with a cookout-themed party at the Tanque Verde Ranch, where guests mingled and got to know the venue where they would spend the entire weekend. personal touch: The couple incorporated some of their favorite songs and poems, which were read by their siblings, into their ceremony. flower power: “We wanted a very casual ranchy feel,” says Sara, “so we collected tons of old jars and bottles and filled them with a variety of succulents and white flowers.” The florist was given free rein to decorate with white florals, twigs and other elements that fit the theme. “We were blown away by the arrangements she came up with,” recalls the bride. variety is the spice of life: The couple crafted homemade sriracha salt for guest favors, the Ranch special-ordered their favorite sparkling wine for the reception, and the cocktail hour featured prickly pear margaritas as well as a non-alcoholic watermelon agua fresca cocktail.
