Event at Tucson Sheraton for TB&G friends!
categories: Cakes and Sweets, fabulous reception sites, Floral Inspiration, Reception ideas, Stuff We Love!

There’s nothing like walking into a room full of people and knowing every one of them. You see a familiar face at every turn and that unmistakable feeling of belonging swells up inside.

When I went to the Tucson Bride and Groom Magazine Event at the Sheraton last week, I set myself up for the exact opposite experience. I walked into a room of people I had never met. Via email, I had tried to hound some of them but face-to-face meetings? Not yet.  To top it off, this group knows each other VERY well. I prepared for an evening of solitude and awkwardness.

To my delight, I was wrong about my apprehensions. I was welcomed with open arms and eager ears. I connected with enthusiastic professionals, bounced ideas around and even found myself making friends. Tucson is a city of down to earth dreamers. The people I met are easily genuine and are making the most of their talents and dreams as wedding industry pros.

Georgina of Something Blue Photography was even kind enough to share her images from the evening. She and her husband are very sweet. Here are some pics from the night:

Look at the goodies that awaited us!

The tables were dressed beautifully and we all gushed about the lovely floral designs

And of course, our Publisher Fran Samuel, Tucson B&G Regional Sales Director Liz Puente, our DJ for the night from CE Entertainment who did a fantastic job and featured speaker Michael Tucker from Xtreme Business International who shared just the tip of the Social Media iceberg with us.

Some more friends!

The Ladies: Karen Ramackers, Fran Samuel, Liz Puente and Kelly Gill

As you can tell, it was a great night. We talked, we ate, we listend, we laughed and at the end of it all, we gnoshed on cake and cupcakes. What more could a girl ask for? Tucson may not be able to get rid of me!

Chatting Soon~ Kelly
