Of course you are going to treat your guests to something lovely and sugary. And of course you want that sugar to be pretty, right? Our photoshoot at Hacienda Corona de Guevavi showcases some of the yummy and pretty wedding sweets available to you.

I love this cake from Village Bakehouse- the vintage feel of the cake is enhanced by the intricate pattern and the weathered cake stand

Tarts are always a good alternative or compliment to a cake

And who wouldn’t want a heart shaped cookie?

Petit fours and cupcakes make for perfect bite sized bridal shower treats

Many thanks to all who participated in this photoshoot:

Sensational Settings- The Tables
categories: Beyond the Wedding, Cakes and Sweets, From the Consultants, Photography, Reception ideas, Wedding Inspiration

When we hear about an event that supports the Greater Tucson community, we jump at the chance to spread the word. Last Sunday, St Luke’s Home hosted the 16th Annual Sensational Settings Event and it was a huge success!

Participants designed tablescapes for attendees to browse and gather design ideas; Bella Janssen of Bella Bride Weddings and Events designed a fresh and fun table that you just have to see:

Here’s what Bella has to say about her “Let Them Eat Cake” table (her enthusiasm is infectious!): The colors are white with lime green and dark green accents. The linen is white and I used dark green and lime green ribbons across the table. This gives a creative touch and eliminates runners and chargers;  Jaynie (of Ambrosia of Tucson and Mini’s Cupcakes) made a cake that serves 8 to 10 guest and this replaces the flowers for a typical centerpiece. If using this idea at an event, each table would have their own cake.  I will also use apples around the table and place a chalkboard marker inside that can be used as seating cards.”

A Fine Line Stationery and Gift Boutique also set up a table that embraced metallics in a very elegant way

The placemats are cut wood- aren’t they beautiful?

Annette Hartman Catering also designed a table that was on the more traditional side-it’s set for tea!

Great work everybody! Chatting Soon~Kelly
